خمینی شهر پس از تهران به عنوان دومین شهرستان متمرکز جمعیتی کشور شناخته شده و همچنین با قرارگیری در نزدیکی اصفهان و منطقه شاپورجدید فعالین زیادی در حوزه کامیون داری ، کامیون رانی و شرکتهای حمل و نقل کامیون در اصفهان و بخصوص شاهپور جدید اصفهان دارد. فعالیت سنگین در زمینه سنگبری در اطراف خمینی شهر بارهای کفی 9 متری و اسلبهای زیادی برای بارگیری داشته و شهر متمرکز ایران بارگیری های داخلی بسیاری برای اجاره سواران دارد. انجمن صنفی شرکت های حمل و نقل کالای خمینی شهر به منظور پایاسازی بار در خمینی شهر ، نرخ گذاری عادلانه بار ، صدور بارنامه یکسان و اعلام بار منصفانه تشکیل گردیده است .
